"This hotel is in an amazing location and the staff provides excellent service. It’s close to North-South metro lines and the Nishiki Market. Lots to see and do within walking distance. Also pretty easy to take a train to Uji from here. Make sure to reserve a time for the private spa, unforgettable experience."

"Beautiful room with plenty of space, comfortable beds, and kind staff. We paid for breakfast and were given lunch as well. Plus, there is a nice club room with sofas, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks as a free service of the hotel. The Onsen is lovely after a long day. Easy access to train stations and it’s easy to get around to all of the temples and shops. A nice Pilates and yoga facility is down the street. It was a posit e experience all anroind, and I would do it all over again. "

"The room was big we could spread out, it is new and clean and light and airy. Transport around made it easy to get to all the different sites to visit. Pool was great to have a break after a long hot day. Walking around the back street and shopping was fun, as well as having shopping malls in close proximity. Good eating options in walking distance."

"Family of four with neighbouring twin rooms. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Very much a staffed hotel. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Beds were very comfortable. There were cups and kettle in room and tea bags available for self serve at reception along with toothbrush and toiletries although toiletries and washing liquid provided in rooms already. Area was safe and peaceful, walking distance to many sites and metro. Loved the back streets and restaurants, some european options too if desired. Free coffee machine and seating area in lonby was appreciated. We had breakfast included which was a mix of Japanese food and ham and eggs, croissants, toast, jam, yoghurt but 7 - 11 also next door for supplies if needed. Would recommend for anyone."

"This was the perfect spot for accessibility to public transportation for traveling Kyoto, was relatively central to all the destinations in Kyoto we had in mind. Was near convenient stores and local restaurants that were the hidden gems on our trip. Room was enough space to stay comfortably for about a week and the spa/ bath house was a part we didnt expect to use but ended up loving and using every day. Most staff speaks great English and are very friendly and helpful with area recommendations. After needing to change hotels and book here last minute, this place made our visit to Kyoto much better then how it started. Would definitely book again"
