"The manor cottages we’re ok just need a up date bit tired"

"Arrived and the cottage wasn’t cleaned. Fridge - Dirty. Microwave - Dirty. Dishes in the dishwasher. Rubbish in the bin. A lot of dust, cobwebs around the house. Contacted the host by message and he told me to email my concerns and he would sort. That was over a week ago and still no contact. Pity as the location was great and plenty of outdoor garden to play with the grandkids."

"What a perfect, homely home from home. Ideal for exploring the north of Ireland. The hosts were so welcoming and provided many thoughtful extra touches which were very much appreciated. Immaculately clean and well kept, endless hot water and comfy beds. Beautiful views from the cabin and a short drive from stunning beaches. Can’t recommend higher."

"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "

"The location is good. Busy road during the day but quiet at night. The cottage has the charm of being old but it does require some attend to the deco, particularly in the bathroom and the kitchen. They could do with a refresh. Top bedrooms and the ones downstairs were in good order. "
