Family friendly Hotels in Northern Illinois, Illinois

"We checked in on a Friday and was immediately taken back at how nice the lobby was. We had good intentions of doing things around the area, but the pool/hot tub area, the billiards, and the ping pong table were speaking to us. We didn't leave the hotel the ENTIRE stay except when we walked to dinner (2 blocks away) Friday night. The saloon was laid back and served pizzas, breakfast was impressive and delicious, and the front desk even had board/card games we could check out and borrow. I got the cheapest room available and it was HUGE!! We will be returning soon. I think we just found our new spot to stay every time we travel to the Quad Cities!!! Even the staff were super nice and always ready to help with anything. Pool guy, cleaners, front desk attendants, they were all so joyful and really made us feel at ease there.
