"Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Plenty of parking and kind staff. There is a restaurant as well that serves complimentary breakfast. You have the option to have dinner there as well. Plenty of variety. Rooms are spacious including a tv, small table, shower, etc. Rooms were excellent. Very close drive to Hvammanstangi to see the seals! Thanks so much!"

"This is such a beautiful hotel perched high on the hills with a fantastic view of Mývatn lake below. The hotel is exquisite and luxurious. The rooms were comfy and spacious. There is a restaurant and good selections for a paid breakfast. It's close to the attractions. Get there early as parking is limited."

"This was the most luxurious place we stayed at in Iceland. The property is immaculate. The stunning views of the harbor and even an old sail boat in front of the hotel. There is a hot tub to use with comfy white bath robes. A beautiful hotel bar and dining room. The breakfast was amazing (and included) with a huge selection of elaborate choices. We had a huge picture window in our room overlooking the harbor with a seating area to rest. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets so soft, I wanted to buy them. There was even a fire place and a reading room. Get there early to enjoy your stay, and get a good parking spot (as it's limited)."
