"Overall we loved our stay! We were a little mislead by the proximity of the lake to the house, we assumed it was a waterfront property and it’s not. While you can see the water between the houses across the road, to access the water and beach via public access, you have to walk down the street a little bit. "I liked the look and feel of the cabin. It had WiFi and very comfortable beds. Outside area was a cute setup with a nice fire pit. You can see the water from the cabin, but there is no way to access it unless you drive to a public beach which takes like 15 minutes or so. Which isn't bad but not well explained in the listing. The cabin was well located for restaurants, groceries, and mini golf. "

"Needs an update on the linens and blankets. Not much of a view either. Washer and dryer and fridge work fine. Bathroom needs hooks and towel bars and maybe a new tub surround. The wiring is also a little sketchy as it is extension cords running on the outside of the walls. Should be a bit more upscale and remodeled for the price. "

"Read lots of mixed reviews before booking. We stayed as a family of 5, for 4 nights. We had a great time. Pool was average, food nearby, lakeside, beach had sand but was rocky in the water - kids didn’t care. We had no issues w our stay. "

"I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, the price point this one was above and beyond. There’s nothing negative to say about this place. Don’t listen to anyone that says anything different. It’s the best value for your money and the breakfast was excellent."

"We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and nice, though there was a strong perfume scent. The pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was great. The bonfires with s'mores supplies provided were awesome. The only thing is that the beach is not swimmable and there is no beach where you can walk to the water. There's huge boulders that separate the upper part and lower part of the beach, but the part by the water is mucky and muddy and not crossable. Otherwise, great stay. Would stay again. "

"Loved all the staff we met from front desk to cleaning staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the third floor and you can't take food back to your room but it is a very large dining room that accomodates many. Room was very comfortable. Lots of dead bugs on the balcony but I suppose that's normal. Absolutely loved the view of the beach!"
