"It was ok"

"Clean, quiet property. Main entrance is located opposite side of the road-you have to drive around the building to access it. Room was spacious with nice bathroom. Lacked a hair dryer though. Staff were courteous. It appeared that a lot of people used it as their permanent address but nothing too sketchy. The hallways smelled terrible but the room itself had no odor. I could hear a dog barking down the hall when walking down it but not from my room itself. Easy access off I-35. Would stay again. "

"Staff were friendly. The location was great, especially for the price. Location was literally right off the interstate and made getting to/from Kansas City and Lawrence easy. Room mostly clean, but smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking room. Also had debris/dirt on the floor. Amenities were overall good, but internet quality was not great--my phone and laptop regularly disconnected regardless of where in the room I was. Also very noisy through most hours of the night--people screaming or being loud outside/next door. I realize that's not the fault of the hotel, but definitely influenced my overall experience here. I would consider staying here again if I was by myself; however, this isn't a hotel I would recommend to others or would stay at if traveling with family."

"The staff was not helpful when asked for recommendations on locations to dine locally. The breakfast was not great, a lot of empty items and not much variety."

"Requested extra blanket with no issue. Needed extra towels with only 3 in our room and 2 washcloths. Breakfast had 2 hot items out at 9:20 am but staff able to replace 1. Staff friendly. Hotel clean but a little dated and not much extra space in bathroom or room "

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL Me and my friends booked this hotel to stay for 2 nights. We reserved double room or a room with 2 queen beds. When we checked in the first night, they gave us 2 rooms with one king bed in each room cause they didnt have any double room available. Alright, not what we reserved but understandable. So we checked in for 2 rooms. The second night, we had a long day and returned to the hotel. When we entered one room, the bed was completely stripped and the bedding stuff was on a couch. The room was still not cleaned and it looked like someone started cleaning but left it in the middle of the process. Mind you our luggages were still in that room. Then we tried to enter the second room to see the status and our key card didnt work. Then turns out there was another guest in that room. So they had checked out one of our rooms to new guest on our second day of stay. We raised this issue and the lady in the front desk was just making excuses and started explaining that it’s the morning staff that did it and all that. We had to leave the hotel late at night and find another hotel for the night. Staff is unprofessional, unorganized, and unreliable. They do not pay attention to customer’s concerns. So DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, if you dont wanna end up having to find another hotel emergently."
