Northeast Side hotel rooms a the Best Western

"Clean, friendly staff, walking distance to the riverwalk and Alamo. Only thing negative about the stay was having to pay 35$ in addition to the room charge, to park in the hotel parking lot. "

"Great location and a very nice hotel with fantastic history. Only complaint is how small the showers are and the temperature fluctuation in the water. However, we would stay there again."

"I travel a lot and I have to say this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in a long time. The hotel is run down. The AC was not working in the room we got and it was 89 degrees. We requested a different room, and was moved to a room without a river view but we were not reimbursed. The new room's shower head was broken; and the soap dispenser did not work. When I tried to call reception to ask for help, I discovered the phone did not work. There was a private event downstairs and with the acoustics it was very loud in the room till 11pm. I will definately not stay in the hotel again and hope that Expedia will refund the difference between river view room that we lost. It was horrible."

"Check in was quick. We booked online. The room was affordable, clean, and had a simple and nice design. Also had a microwave, mini fridge, blow dryer and ironing board. Restrooms were clean, stocked and also had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Our only complaint was locating the light switches on the lamps. Other than that, we had a nice and comfy stay! "
