"This hotel was lovely. The past few years I've been traveling a lot more, staying in hotels in many cities- mainly on the eastern half of the us. This was my first trip to the west coast and one of the best hotels I've stayed in since traveling more. We had a suite with a kitchen and small living area. Room was clean, staff was awesome, location was out of the way- which worked for us. We live in the rural midwest, we are used to being far away from things. The hospital/university campus seemed safe however I wouldn't have wondered too far off the property at night. It was close to some less savory areas. I did drive to get food one night, about 10 minutes away. My only complaints are paying for parking, I would have preferred to closer to some of las attractions, and felt comfortable walking my service animal off the property. I saw several other guests recovering from surgery, I think a lot of patients and hospital/medical staff stay here. There was what looked to be apartments in the joining building. There was a park and pond very close as well."

"Staff was very helpful from when you first get there until recommending a place to eat. Very secure parking in private lot behind property. Large clean rooms with all the amenities. Breakfast in the morning was amazing and very big so it filled you up until lunchtime."
