"The check in progress was horrible Our check in time was 3:00 - but when we arrived we were told the the majority of the rooms were not ready & would not be ready until 7 or 8pm How ridiculous is this? We were expected to wait for nearly 5 additional hours to get in our rooms? The worst part was the manager, May-gee, (not sure of the spelling - but that’s how it’s pronounced) was an extremely angry nasty woman. Rather than try to help accommodate the many many frustrated guests - she basically went from one to the next to the next & treated each one like crap as we sat there in the lobby waiting to get into our rooms. How does she have a job there? Is the NPS that desperate for workers that they take on & promote one’s like her? What a horrible way to begin a long awaited vacation "

"We were not informed the hotel does not have an elevator. We are in our 70s & this would have been good to know as we had a 2nd floor room. Nice property & confortable spacious room. We had some issues with the unusual television system, & the AC unit kept turning itself off after 30 minutes. But still a pleasant night's sleep. "

"Room was clean and very quiet. Bed very comfortable. ok breakfast items offered. Would have enjoyed a yogurt and maybe a muffin. "

"The property is n very poor condition, cleaning staff woke us very early and the room key and TV didn’t work."

"Because of terrible communication from the lady handling check in, we were led to believe there was no heat in the hotel “because it’s between seasons”. Our room was 61°. When I returned to the desk to ask for additional blankets, I could hear other sections of the property did have heat so I requested another room. Why wasn’t this offered in the first place? I waited about 15-20 minutes both times I approached the desk. No apology, no offer of assistance, just a smirk. The lady at check out was more polite and did apologize for the situation. She said the lack of heat was from a burst pipe. I will say once we were in a room with heat, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. "

"Staff were all super friendly. Having a restaurant in the hotel was excellent for dinner given the limited options in the town. Gift shop inside was also very good. We were traveling with our dog also. Definitely recommend staying here. "

"Hard to find in the dark even with GPS. Signs confusing. "
