"Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is a bit further out which means you should plan travel accordingly. The rooms were clean and the staff gave you all the information you needed if you had to contact them."

"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."

"The hotel was old and uncomfortable. Didn’t find my booking and had to wait around for over 30 minutes for it to be confirmed despite showing evidence the room was booked.
Won’t stay again. "

"Excellent food in a lovely village next to a main road however when you shut the windows the traffic noise was vastly reduced. The close room was great value."

"We stayed in room 19 which is lovely and spacious with an equally spacious bathroom. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. There is a sofa and additional chairs which is a real treat in any hotel room. Having windows that open is so rare and very welcome.
Breakfast was amazing … we opted for poached eggs on toast and a mushroom and cheese omelette. Both were delicious … we could tell it was cooked by a professional cook or chef.
The staff at the Hopping Hare are first class … nothing is too much trouble and they are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. It’s always a pleasure to stay here and we’ll return soon. Thank you as always."
"Parking was easy, lots of space despite the hotel being full. The room was clean.
The hotel itself is pretty tired and in need of an update. There was plaster missing on the walls, the light switches did their own merry dance and there were only three sockets in the room (one has the tv in and one has the kettle) I had to unplug one to have a fan on whilst I charged my phone.
All that said, these things were MORE than made up for by the absolute delight that was the staff! Every staff member I spoke with was absolutely lovely, they couldn't do enough for me and were chirpy and happy despite some really unreasonable and rude guests.
I didn't see any hotel staff specifically - I think I was checked in by the restaurant manager, he was wonderful. super friendly and up for a laugh. the bar staff and restaurant staff were also wonderful, couldn't fault them at all.
Overall the stay was enjoyable due to excellent staff and the bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was decent. "
