"What an incredibly beautiful hotel! Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Everything was top tier and worth the money. I can’t say enough about the views, it could have possible been the best ones I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The beach at the hotel was stunning and perfect for snorkeling. We saw turtles and tons of fish. The beach hospitality coupled with the view and the prime waters was spectacular. Behind the beach is the pool with everything you need and more. There’s towels, sunscreen, great food and service. I could go on and on. The resort fees are expensive but you truly pay for what you get. We had a very late flight and the hotel offers a hospitality suite for you to shower and freshen up after the 11am checkout. I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll be back as soon as I can!"

"We moved to Hanalei Bay Resort mid-vacation and wow are we happy we did ! True resort with lively swim/snorkel beach, restaurants and bar on site, beautiful immaculate private lodging with full kitchen and A/C and the most comfortable bed- HB Resort is truly that- a destination resort- with the most gorgeous grounds, tennis, pickle ball and truly amazing lagoon pool - beautiful views as well! Delicious food at both restaurants, easy parking and check in- staff were so helpful and stayed in touch via text during our stay- highly r recommend - a perfect vacation"

"Our stay at Hanalei Colony Resort was nothing short of exceptional—an easy 10/10! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a truly special place. If you’re looking for peace, relaxation, and the authentic beauty of Kauai, this is it. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the lush mountains, listening to the waves, and enjoying the cool trade winds made every day feel like paradise. The climate was perfect for us—comfortable temperatures, fresh ocean breezes, and just enough tropical rain to keep everything incredibly green and beautiful. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality added so much to our experience. We completely fell in love with Hanalei and the North Shore. The slower pace of life, stunning scenery, amazing food, and friendly people made it incredibly difficult to leave. It was exactly the kind of relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Hanalei Colony Resort provided the perfect escape from busy everyday life. Whether we were enjoying the views from our lanai, exploring the area, or simply unwinding, every moment felt peaceful and rejuvenating. We are already planning our return trip next year. "We enjoyed our condo. It was well equipped with everything needed, made meal prep easy. Was nice to have grills to use close by too. Found the property/buildings to be quiet. Small pool but we often had it to ourselves. The location was perfect as it was close to most all of the activities we enjoyed."

"We had a wonderful stay here. Since this is a non-air conditioned property, it’s good to know that the evening breeze keeps things cool and comfortable at night. One thing we really appreciated was that the hotel communicates through text, which made everything incredibly convenient. It was easy to ask questions, get updates, and communicate with the staff throughout our stay. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. We traveled with a medically sensitive child with special needs, and after learning about our daughter, they went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable throughout our stay. Their kindness and genuine care meant so much to our family. The young lady at the front desk, whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, was especially amazing. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the outstanding hospitality and would absolutely stay here again."
