Hotel Europa, BW Signature Collection
8/10 Good
"The room I had was very interesting and cool. It was a weird top floor with vaulted ceilings and access to a large semi-private rooftop deck that looked out over the city. It was strange to access via a hidden stairwell that was not well marked. The location was walking distance from the Bell Centre, which was the reason for the booking choice. The room however, for the price (over $400 for the night with no attached/included parking), had mildew in the bathroom, the outlets were loose and made charging phones difficult. The bathroom outlet didn’t seem to work either and appeared relatively new and “green” showing no fault. The bathroom switch plate was cracked. The plumbing access in the bathroom left open. On the deck outside the patio door was a plastic cup filled with cigarette butts and old water…pretty disgusting and a discarded liquor can. Loved the location but was not what was expected for the $426, I paid for the night."
