North Padre Island hotel rooms a the La Quinta Inn & Suites

"Customer service and clean was outstanding. Don't want to say to much because then everyone wants to stay here. Everything was close by beach park. Drive to main mall was a quickie. All kinds of restaurants! City was clean and again ppl were very nice!"

"I will start off by saying, the staff were very polite and sweet. I have no complaints about them at all. I don’t know if they are directly involved with the upkeep of the facility. The location was very convenient for driving to mustang island. We heard very little noise from neighbors and roadway. Plenty of parking. At first glance, the hotel seemed nice enough for a La Quinta in Corpus. After all, it was chosen because it was the least expensive one around. First thing we noticed was the entry sliding doors were inoperable. Then 30 seconds in the building, you do notice an odor. As you go further into the elevator, then hallway then room…the smell gets almost overwhelming. The only way I can describe the odor is a swimming pool with mildew. I did not go close enough to confirm what it was, but the AC unit in the hallway had brown (rust?) all over it and the walls The actual cleanliness of the room was not bad. Things obviously needed attention (grout in bathroom & torn box spring covers). We did not get enough towels (we booked for 4 guests, there were 2 towels) which is whatever, but when I went down to grab 2 more they were only able to give me 1 and they had no more. Also when we had the breakfast there were no more plates, so we just ate waffles cut up in bowls. So if the hotel did not have that stench I honestly would have been ok with it and staying there again for a night. But I just took my pony tail down and my hair just smells like the hotel :("

"The property is very clean with a great layout. Plenty of amenities for convenience. Parking is limited to parking on the side of the road outside of property. "

"Access to the beach was super close! I love that they had a pool for my kiddos to enjoy as well. The stay was amazing !!! I would book a hundred times again <3"
