"I realize this is a budget hotel but I believe they went too far. First there was no coffee maker or clock radio/alarm in the room. The towels were barely thicker than a heavy duty tissue paper. All these were quite inconvenient but I could have overlooked them since price was low.
The free Breakfast took it well below my standards. First there was no coffee ther as the coffee maker stopped working(no backup plan. There was also no milk. When I confronted the employee on duty to advise that there were probably 10 establishments within a half mile that sell milk and even offered to pick it up for her (provided she give me the funds), all she would say was that the truck will run tomorrow. I continued to tell her that a truck tomorrow does not solve a prioblem today.
An easy solution would have been to have DoorDash bring milk to serve the customers but the choice was to have the customers suffer for the hotels lack of planning.
The young lady working was only following directions from her manager (who was not on property). Management here needs to change quickly. Any manager worth their salt would have resolved this problem in 30 seconds, milk is not a difficult commodity to come by.
For this, a customer is lost forever! I hope it was worth it!!!"
"We stayed here the weekend of my son’s WVU graduation. The room was filthy! It smelled of weed as soon as I opened the door. The shower curtain was moldy and mold growing around the sink faucet. The bathroom floor was dirty and something had been spilled on it. "
"Staff was great! Bartenders were excellent! Room was kinda dirty. We placed a pillow on the floor below the air conditioner. Woke up next morning with dust all over it. I have bad allergies and couldn't stay our second night. Hotel refunded our money for night two and parking. "
"The room was very nice as was the gym (it was excellent!). I wish there had been bathrobes in the room and the shower floor was slippery. Other than it was a great stay!"
"There was a used washcloth in our shower and I don’t think the rug had been vacuumed. The carpet going from first to second floor was soaking wet the entire time. The tile floor in the lobby and first floor tile leading to second floor steps was wet. I had fallen a few weeks ago so I was very hesitant to walk there.
On the positive side the entire staff was helpful and courteous."
