"We have stayed at this hotel several times on vacation. This last experience was horrible. We booked a bay front, 719 sq ft room on Expedia. However, when we arrived we were told they did not have a bay front room for the four nights we would be there. The manager gave us a bay front room the first night of our stay, but we had to move for the remaining three nights. We were moved to a much smaller room with limited bay view. We tried several times to request a bay front room even if we had to move a couple of times that week but continued to be told none were available for third party customers. The manager, Keith, was extremely rude and seemed to hate his job. We were very nice to him and everyone we spoke to about the situation there. In addition to being moved and not getting the room we paid for, the hotel was very understaffed requiring us to wait over 30 minutes to talk to front desk personnel several times and the pool area and the pool bathrooms were very dirty. The pool tables had food customers had ordered sitting out all day without being cleaned. The pool bathrooms were disgusting. Our room balcony furniture was covered in dirt that was not cleaned when we first arrived. Two afternoons we put a maid service cleaning sign out, but no one came to clean it even though I asked one of the maids to clean it that afternoon. The hotel used to be a wonderful place to stay, but it has become very dirty and is poorly run.
