"The hotel is definitely a little older, but it’s cute, clean, and has a nice feel to it. I really liked the staff—they were all super friendly, professional, and helpful. The location was also perfect and really convenient. The only thing I wish they had was luggage storage. So if you’re planning to leave your bags before check-in or after check-out, just keep that in mind because they don’t have a place to store them. Overall, I had a really nice stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The location is great, and I really like that you have restaurants, places to relax, and the Sky Bar all right there. The hotel is older, but overall it is still a nice property. My main concern is cleanliness and maintenance. I noticed a lot of dust and debris around the vents in my room, which looked like they needed a thorough cleaning. I also noticed that the globe-style lights over some of the restaurant tables had bugs and debris inside them. That definitely stood out while eating and should be cleaned regularly. The public bathrooms also needed more attention. During my visit, some stalls were out of toilet paper and there were no paper towels, and the trash was overflowing. These areas should probably be checked and maintained more frequently throughout the day. Overall, I would stay here again because I like the location and amenities, but I do think the hotel would benefit from more consistent cleaning and maintenance. Those small details make a big difference in the overall guest experience."

"The hotel staff were all very nice, and we really liked the location of the hotel itself. The room and bathroom were nice and a comfortable size for two people. Although both rooms were clean when we arrived, housekeeping did not come to clean or tidy up either room our entire stay. There was a sign on the bathroom mirror stating that the towels and sheets would be changed every three days for conservation purposes, which we had no problem with. However, we did not understand that to mean that no one would at least tidy up daily. The food and the entertainment (Sunday evening) at the Surf Club Grille were excellent. There were simple things that could have been done to improve the quality of the stay, such as having information in the room about the restaurant menu and the arrangements for beach chairs and umbrellas. We had no idea that in order to get beach chairs and umbrellas, we had to make arrangements in advance. (Many beaches automatically have them set up and you pay right on-site to rent them.) There was a sign posted at the door leading to the beach, but by the time we saw it, it was too late to make arrangements. If the hotel had this type of information in the room when we arrived, it would have made our stay so much more enjoyable as we really looked forward to lounging on the beach. And there's a good chance that we could have been enticed to order breakfast from the Surf Club Grille if the menu had been in the room."

"Parking costs $30 e xtra per night, and it's outdoors or the top floor of the garage. We stayed one night before Labor Day, speak pricing was probably in place. Had a lovely bartender named Michael. Attended a wedding and the food was not good."
