"The staff is so friendly, the facilities are nice, the location is good. We love the beach and the beach chairs! The bars and restaurants are wonderful. The only thing I wish we could change is that it is close to a water treatment plant and it can smell from time to time. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place. We will likely return. "

"Hotel , pool and beaches lovely!! Clean, breakfast very good. Coffee shop great . Walking distance to everything!! Only problem is never enough people at front desk. And don’t face north side of sea tower towards the moomba bar! Very noisy at night. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Courtyard. Our room was clean , spacious, and modern with comfortable beds. I do wish I could have got a room that faced South, east, or west for more light exposure but overall it was still very nice . I had a nice view of the pool. The food and drinks were good .Everyone enjoyed their meals including my picky teens . The fountain water and ice was also good. They had a really nice breakfast buffet with plenty of options. The free dessert wasn’t great but that’s ok. The pool was beautiful, I especially enjoyed the lounging chairs in the water. The evening entertainment (steel drum players ,singers)was enjoyable too. The resort was in a good location, pretty close to Palm beach (5-7 min walk or the hotel will give you a ride), butterfly farm , and the palm beach strip with a huge variety of restaurants and bars. All the staff were helpful and professional but I’d like to thank Rosie for being so kind to me and my daughter who’s on the autism spectrum. She was struggling (having a meltdown)during breakfast and Rosie offered to accommodate us when needed. It was good to know that people are understanding and not judgmental. The only complaint was I waited past 4pm to be checked in but the positives outweigh that, it was about a 20 minute wait. I would definitely stay here again. It was great for our family. We miss it already."

"The pool was refreshing and the activities were fun , the buffet was really good a lot of different choices and fresh fruits . The employees were very friendly and helpful I really loved staying at the Riu in Aruba , this was my first time in Aruba staying at the Riu palace I stayed for 9 days , I did 4 excursions I had the time of my life . Can't wait to come back . Just bring sunscreen "

"Word for the wise! If you pay for the “huts” on the beach for your entire stay, make sure you claim them daily between 7-9am or they are forfeited and given to other guests. You are not charged but you don’t have your hut. Many guests were upset as that is the reason you rent them so as not having to rush down in the morning. "

"I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times (5–6 visits) and always had a great experience, which is why this situation is so disappointing. I was charged for a restaurant bill at 7:09 AM on the day of my arrival, even though my flight landed at 1:55 PM — clearly impossible. I contacted both accounting and management and provided full proof, but no one has responded for 10 days. It appears a simple mistake was made, but instead of resolving it, they are ignoring the issue. Very disappointing customer service from a place I used to trust."
