"Rated as 2 star motel. If so, best two star motel we’ve stayed in. Large, clean comfortable room and beds; ample drawer and closet space; newer TV; microwave, refrigerator (with sm freezer - not a for fee minibar refrig) and coffee maker. Pleasant front desk staff, across street from RV campgrounds where friends were staying; clean pool and spa; nice outdoor covered dining area for continental style breakfast and coffee. Reasonable rates. What more can one ask for?"

"Was our 2nd time staying here and we fell in love every time. This time we utilized the pool area. The hot tub was relaxing and the pool is perfect for a cold plunge. RV is very clean, safe, and comfortable. The uber into the village is not that bad. "

"First time staying at Chumash, I was disappointed because I was under the impression I booked a room with a balcony but was told that wasn’t the case during check in. The property is poorly ventilated, wreaked of cigarette smoke. Other casinos smell like smoke too but this was different. The pool was nice, clean and not overly crowded. The mattress was horrible!!! Felt the springs in my back. Pillows were comfortable. I liked the mini fridge in the room. I probably won’t visit the property again. Many other local casinos that are more updated. "
