"Our bathroom smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes in it. We had to keep our 9 month old as far away as possible. We were put on a floor they were decorating for some sort of party. The decorators were nice and courteous but it would have been a nice warning before getting up there and weirded out. I’ve stayed there before, but this time was disappointed."

"First of all, I've had good stays at other La Quinta Inns. This one.... 1. The first room had the shower spout fall off (couldn't take a shower) 2. The second room (replacement) had a malfunctioning toilet 3. The dirty towels were only replaced every third day (we stayed two) 4. One light wouldn't light on the desk 5. A night manager was rude and when we asked for replacement towels gave us only one bath towel for two people. 6. The bathroom sink faucet as very loose on the sink and the drain plug didn't work. In all fairness, we were given assistance on our first morning for some late breakfast. We missed the 9am cutoff (by 30 minutes ) because we were still on PSTime and this hotel was on Rocky Mtn. Time. The manager was very helpful and let us have some late breakfast. My general impression was that whoever was in charge of maintenance was trying to scrimp on maintenance and didn't have the skills to do the job."
