"Great location for event we were attending. We did not use any of the amenities that were offered. Rooms are updated and clean. Great little balcony to sit on after a day of running around. I do think that at check-in, staff should let you know that rooms are cleaned every other day, so new towels and complimentary coffee will not be restocked in your room if you are staying more than one night. "This is my favorite hotel in State College and one of the most beautiful renovations for a local college hotel. The food is excellent, and the hotel service is always welcoming and efficient, the valet attendance are excellent, front desk team is terrific and very welcoming. Will is outstanding and helped me book my favorite room . The only drawback for business travelers that don’t have a lot of time— is that the breakfast is not easy to get to in the morning. The coffee shop is adorable. Unfortunately they never have enough staff or good training on how to keep lines flowing. They also just rearranged the coffee shop this past week and it looks absolutely terrible. It was so adorable and a comfort when you can’t make it to the sit down breakfast. The staff are always so kind but sometimes the line is 30 to 35 people deep just to get a cup of coffee! All the parents visiting order full meals and take their sweet time ordering complicated drinks. It’s so unbearable! I wish they would put out free coffee or offer a fast pick up line and get the staff help."

"A fun stop on our way to a wedding in Pennsylvania. We golfed 18 holes before leaving in the morning. The fields restaurant had the most creative burgers we have ever seen. They were so delicious! And the shakes are out of this world! They need to be served with a bigger straw! We would definitely stay again."

"Staff was great, very helpful and friendly! Pool was closed so we didn’t get to use that this weekend, but everything else was clean and well maintained. The layout was easy to navigate and the rooms were set up well. Great water pressure for my thick haired girlies (and guys)and it got HOT for those who like to boil! Breakfast was meh, but to be expected for your typical continental hotel breakfast. Ample parking, just be aware the restaurant that shares the lot does get busy on weekends. Would totally stay again for the location and price."
