The hotel staff and the restaurant staff were all extremely friendly and they were very helpful with all of my requests and questions.
I would highly recommend staying at the resort and eat at the restaurants.

It’s the best ski in out hotel in japans
Everyone is pleasant .food is unbelievable.
Rooms are clean and spacious.so comfortable.
There is a strong need for a special lane pass for hotel guest in the ski field as people that don’t stay in the hotel clog up the lines first
thing of the morning
Beautiful resort with activities for all ages. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food at both restaurants was great. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were soft with high quality linens. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Hokkaido!!!
The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The service team is friendly and efficient.
The room is fantastic. Bright and spacious. Amenities are good. Super clean. Very comfortable pillow. One of the best stays.

Really pricely
The hotel is perfect location for skiing, however i have my 4 years old kid with me and i was surprise to not have any playroom for that small age kid, of course there is some which you have to pay everything butits open in the afternoon, a bit desappointed for Marriot!
The buffet is saving weist, not so many choice and everyday similar. I pay more than 1400 dollars a night, really expensive hotel for what i use to take before as mariot or even hilton which i wasnt desapointed.

I’ve emailed staff for collect package of ski gear we left .. hopefully they live up to the great standards they gave us on the visit
Was great experience to stay at Westin Rusutsu Resort. Perfect accommodation, and excellent service. Food is good at restaurant and massage was amazing.
Staff have poor English and resulting time and money wasted due to wrong bookings twice on the same day rather than the next day logically despite clear instructions to extend not new booking.
The convenience to the Rusutsu ski resort is a huge plus. However, the room was expensive and little things - such as waiting in line for 20 minutes to eat at the breakfast buffet - made it seem overpriced for what it delivered. No specific complaints but I would probably stay at the Rusutsu Resort Hotel next time for half the price.

Been coming back to stay at the Westin every year for skiing. Since covid it seems the standard has dropped. They have not also maintained the quality of the stay post covid.
Example: quality of free in room amenities dropped, quality of food at breakfast buffet dropped
For the price of the Westin compared to the hotels around the vinicity I would expect the quality to be maintained a little better. Otherwise, the place is clean and service staff are very helpful
The rooms at the Westin are all lofts- really nice layout with the bedrooms on the corridor floor and a great living room with murphy beds and kitchenette on the lower floor.
The toilet, bathroom sink area, and shower/tub are all in their own rooms so you can close the door to each one for more privacy.
The only thing they don't have that would be nice is a microwave, so you can't heat up leftovers or soup. It forces you to eat at one of the many restaurants (three at the Westin and 5 or 6 at the Rusutsu Resort across the street).
It isn't quite ski in/out but it is a short walk to the chairlift for East Mountain and Mt Isola, and a monorail short walk to West Mountain.
