"The pictures online showed this hotel to be beautiful, but the room did not look like the pictures. First off the room was dark with thick shiny grey painted walls. The living room was completely separated from the bedroom by a dark creepy hallway. Neither the bedroom window or living room window would lock. I called the front desk, no one ever showed up. There was no elevator to the second floor. The room was so creepy, I felt very unsafe. I ended up leaving and booking at another hotel. I will be contacting my credit card company about getting a refund for false advertisement. "

"Surface level, this spot does the job. It's a place to lay your head at night for an affordable price. It has some extra amenities like a microwave, iron, hair dryer and nice desk area. However the quality degrades as you look closer. The floors were so dirty that of you walked around barefoot you'd have black soles. There was dead bug smears on the walls and brown stains on the towels. Additionally we closed the screen door and locked the sliding glass backdoor only to find the screen door open in the morning, that really unsettled us. "

"Cable didn't work in two different rooms. Third room was great except for the fact there were rude people pounding on wall late at night and when we went to office to complain, they switched us rooms instead of saying something to people in room next door. The room they moved us to had no cable as well. Very frustrating experience to say the least"

"The place was charming and the room very comfortable and spacious. It had everything you need. The only complaint I would have is that because it is an old Victorian, every window and door is loos and there is no insulation whatsoever. That means that you can hear every sound from every room and even with a breeze the windows and doors rattle all night. I guess that's what old Victorians are like."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful when needed. Rooms are clean and recently remodeled so would definitely recommend. "
