"We had a short trip to Ella and booked Hotel Onrock for one night. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill and was a bit tricky to find but once we found it, I could not fault anything about the hotel. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was extremely spacious and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The highlight for me was the restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both meals were very tasty and had a variety of cuisines on offer. All the kitchen staff were very caring and went to a lot of effort to make sure we enjoyed our meals. "

"This was our second time staying at 98 Acres. The Resort and its facilities are wonderful but the staff at 98 Acres are absolutely amazing. The setting was serene and refreshing, but what stood out most was the exceptional hospitality from every member of the staff warm, attentive, and always ready to help. The breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options that made every morning special. A perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and genuine care. Highly recommended. "The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. It was lovely and spacious, beds were comfortable and the location was excellent, close enough to the excitement without having to hear any of it. Poorna is very friendly and communicative and they did a great job with our laundry. We saw a mongoose in the yard whilst we were there in addition to the very cute dog that lives there. No air con which was fine but also the windows don't have fly screens on them so we were a bit reluctant to leave them open at night for fear of being eaten by mosquitoes so we relied upon the fans in the room. We didn't have a problem with hot water but we were also mindful to be quick. Overall a lovely place to stay near all the restaurants in town."

"Ella is a dream and this property was so nice! The whole ambiance is beautiful and calming. They even have a garden on the premises. Our room has a magnificent view great for watching the sunrise. I opted to watch from outside near the garden. It was so magical to watch the Sun rise while listening to the birds serenade in the background and faint Buddhist chants growing gradually louder as the Sun came up! I highly recommend this property for your stay in Ella and wish we could have stayed longer. I almost did not even come to Ella but so glad I took the 7 hour train right to get here from Kandy. Very amazing place!"
