"This hotel was beautiful, but the road to get there may not be worth it. It eventually turns into a dirt road and it can be dangerous. It is a very long way up the mountain. The only way to get there is a tuktuk or scooter, but that still could be dangerous. Just know that it is a long way out of Kandy."

"The room was excellent clean and tidy, but our room was just above the dining/ restaurant area they had loud music on from 7am which woke us up, the location is super with great views, we wanted to try catch of the day (fish) meal. Waiter told us it will take 25min but took an hour, but wasn't sure if it was fresh or frozen, lovely staff, and good location with great views. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Fox Kandy. The hotel is beautifully designed, and its hilltop location provides perfect views over Kandy and the surrounding hills. One of the standout moments was the morning mist covering the lower parts of the city and hills, leaving the peaks visible above it. It was a beautiful sight. "Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"
