The area is convenient. It's close to town, the train station, restaurants, and a grocery store. The room is good enough for 2 people and the view was amazing. The staff were corteous and hospitable.

A good deal for the price

Our stay was fairly comfortable, and the location relative to Tobu-Nikko station is very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was limited, but not bad, and better than nothing at all. The pillows were lacking, and the bed was a little hard, but we managed. The Mountain View from our window was nice, especially the pink and purple sky just after sunset. If we return to Nikko, I think we would stay here again.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with my friend. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The room is big enough for 2 luggages opened. Basic facilities in the room. Simple breakfast is included. Location is close to the train station (short walking distance).

Located a few minutes from the Tobu station, and still walking distance from the temple complexes and imperial villa. If you have the World Heritage pass the busses from the station to these destinations are free. Decent room and bathroom. Breakfast is inclusive: a hard boiled egg, potato salad, some cabbage and bread. There is free coffee and tea.

Hotel is close to train station and the bus area. Lots of shops nearby including a supermarket, Lion D’Or. The hotel provided a very simple breakfast, a tray that included 1 full slice of bread, a bun, 1 boiled egg, salad, juice and coffee/tea. The room was adequate size for japan standards, but we only had 1 suitcase. It may be a bit more difficult with 2 open suitcases.

The location was convenient, just a few blocks from the train/bus stations, supermarket, and main street. The room, however, was very basic, not having real furnishings except for the chair. The desk and bedside “table” looked like something quickly put together for fun by my woodworking husband. There was a lack of electric outlets (a hair dryer in the bathroom but no outlet to plug it into, in the bathroom or entryway), there wasn’t even a full length mirror, or a hook on the door to hang a towel. The shower and sink faucet was all in one, so couldn’t use the sink if the shower is being used. The air conditioning decided to change itself from cooling to heating on our second night, and the system wouldn’t allow me to change it back to cooling, but good thing we could open the window to let fresh air in during the night.
