"We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. We were lucky I'm sure but I think it's the right time of year to go, any other must get unbelievable hot. Mandalay was 40 ish...

"This is a classy, simple, but elegant place. The food is excellent, and they have great cooking classes, too. I’ve stayed twice with my family here and would stay again. Most places on Inle are pretty magical, but most have pretty bad food. Inle Heritage is the only one I know of with really good food. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and well-trained, and the hotel seriously invests in the local community, training chefs, carpenters, housekeepers and managers who work throughout the...
