We had our daughter’s 18th birthday the weekend we stayed and the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help pull off her surprise and make sure the weekend went perfect!!!"

"I stay here every time I pass through Boston. Does that say it all? 24hr desk. Pleasant, efficient, friendly staff. There's an attached restaurant for light meal or more, or just drinks. Very convenient for Back Bay Amtrak. Taxi to airport about $40, about 25 minutes (outside of rush hour)"

"Even before we stepped foot into the hotel I knew this hotel was going to be incredible. The doormen were kind, welcoming and helpful and brought our luggage to the reception desk, the receptionist was lovely and allocated us a room that was available 3 hours before official check in time. The interior of the hotel is opulent and grand and transports you back to the 1920’s. The onsite shop is very well stocked with food, drinks, snacks, toiletries apparel and even has a Starbucks. The rooms were very well sized and had comfortable beds with a decent sized bathroom with a shower. The only issue we had was with noisy neighbours, and with us having a connecting room it made the noise level slightly louder then I think it would’ve been otherwise, but they checked out two days into our stay but it didn’t stop us sleeping comfortably. It’s located almost perfectly and everything we had planned was within easy reach either by walking or metro station. We went to a Bruins game and it was a 15 minute walk to TD Garden which was really easy to navigate. We will definitely be staying here again and I’ve already recommended it to two different people who are looking at travelling to Boston. "

Breakfast is a little lackluster and unremarkable for a luxury hotel — disappointing. had we known that Contessa was such a scene for brunch, we would have made other plans… but we didn’t, and were stuck with the continental. A bit of a sad breakfast…"
