"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "We stayed in one of the newly upgraded ground floor rooms, which was spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Danny for your thoughtfulness 🙂 Breakfast was very good, and cooked to order. There was plenty of car parking, and there was an EV charging station 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay at The Coach House again"

"I booked this hotel for its leisure facilities but unfortunately the pool gym sauna and other amenities were all closed on the day of my stay due to an issue. My bedroom door also didn’t lock at all and anyone could easily open it without a key card. I hadn’t realised this until the next morning and I probably wouldn’t have stayed if I had. The furniture was all very old and tiered looking worn and it desperately needed modernisation. Pillows were very uncomfortable and gave me a sore neck. I never moan at little things and try and resolve things directly but there was so many things wrong that it all really got to me."
