"First time being in the small town. Nice. Friendly people. Awesome place to stay. A little pricey but very close to Silverwood theme park (15 mins drive)"
"This hotel should be avoided!!
We arrived Saturday night and asked if the advertised pool/hot tub are working. The pool was seasonal and no hot tub onsite. I'm very disappointed at this point, and begrudgingly pay for the reservation. We went to the room and the first thing in the door I notice the sink has black stuff smeared in it. My wife said, "If they can't clean that, what other things are dirty?" We made our way back to the front desk to ask for a refund. Front desk guy calls his manager and speaks to him in a foreign language. He then tells me I need to get my refund from Expedia. I call Expedia and and I explain the scenario. He calls the front desk guy for more details. Expedia guy then explains to me that since I paid at the front desk and not through the site they would not be able to refund my money, but the hotel should. The front desk guy said I would have to talk the Manager on Monday because he couldn't get ahold of him, then same manager he talked to 10 minutes earlier.
I graciously left the room keys on the counter and left with my wife to go find another hotel that was more reputable.
This hotel should be avoided!!"
"The Paul and Jacuzzi were nasty with hair everywhere scum along the edges. My room never got cleaned in five nights even though I asked for housekeeping, the only plus was the great staff and great breakfast."
"Overall, nice check in but dated rooms and dated pool/recreational facility. Also a lot of weeds around the property…makes the environment feel lower end. But front desk was very nice and check in area is cute."
"Nice clean room with comfortable beds. There is a little bit of road noise and to me it’s a little overpriced but all in all, we will be back. Great little diner just down the road too. "
"The room was clean and nice. Staff was nice. The problem we had is there was an extremely bright floodlight right outside our window and unfortunately the black out curtains they have weren't enough to keep the light out. It was shining in around the curtain edges on all sides. We really only used the place to sleep and our toddler was having a hard time falling asleep because of the light. Poorly place light for somewhere people mostly spend time to sleep."
"The place was great! The pool water was very cold the first two days we were there, but that’s because they had just drained it to clean it, and then refilled it. I’m happy with freshly-cleaned pool! It was perfectly temperate by our last day… and the kids absolutely did not care how cold it was 😂"
"First room had a huge blood stain on matress. The girl at the front counter was super nice and tried her best. Had to call manager to get approval to switch rooms. Manager was beyond rude, tried to tell me the bed was made perfectly. Sure was, but matress was nasty and room smelled like old cigarettes. Was able to switch but was told if i didnt like this room i could leave the property, with no refund. Second room was fine. But manager was so rude.
