"We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cosy and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming feel. The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t many mirrors, which would have been handy-but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Would definitely stay again! "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Pod. Communication and instructions before arrival were wonderful and made everything so easy. The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. "The overall property is in need of care. It is a very interesting, almost grand building but it needs refurbishing and better maintenance. The staff was welcoming and tried to be helpful (see below) We had reserved a room with air conditioning. It did not work. We were told that the system would be replaced by the summer! We asked for a fan, we were given a small broken clip fan, we made it work somehow. The food at the temporary restaurant was limited in choice and quality because of ongoing work at the main restaurant. We had been told about the work through an email message from the property after we had reserved. There is a bar but little knowledge as to how to make even basic cocktails. The breakfast buffet was good with a good choice of food, the coffee machine needed to be thoroughly repaired or changed, it did not percolate efficiently for americanos or expressos."

"The staff were very good and evening meal and breakfast very nice. Very disappointed with the fact the key card holder said the bar opened TV12 noon on Saturday but when we asked staff they said it was not open until 3pm. We had arranged to meet friends in the bar at 12 noon so we all had to go into town before the football match which was the purpose of our stay. Maybe someone can amend the information."
