"If you love a nice college campus and don't need all lux of some fancy hotel, this is your spot. It was minimal in a really nice way. Location was just minutes from Limerick's inner city area. Campus is beautiful and staff super friendly. Laundry room is clean and everything works very easily. I will definitely be staying here next time I travel to the area."

"We loved our stay here recently. Lobby and public spaces are clean and updated and all staff were SO helpful! I booked the “family room” and loved it!! I was confused at booking because it only said 2 twin beds but it actually came with one double bed and 3 twin beds!!! I would suggest fixing that detail for others booking.
We checked in during the later evening and my kids were sad to learn that the pool area is not available to children after 7pm. We had to pivot and my family spent a good deal of time with the animals in the back and it was one of the highlights of our time here! So many animals to check out!! I highly suggest a walk through the space!
We added on the breakfast and it was a great offering of breakfast items from a traditional Irish breakfast to pancakes, fruit parfait and freshly squeezed juices! We really enjoyed the meal.
The rooms felt a little outdated or maybe just in need of a freshen up. We had issues with our toilet not flushing which can be a challenge when traveling in general let alone with two small children.
Overall I would stay here again as my family had a great experience and it was close to Bunratty Castle which is what we were in town to explore."
"The beds were very comfy and loved the location. Great water pressure and tub. Also the window was very big so it let in a lot of natural light. However, the bed sheets were a bit scratchy, and you couldn’t adjust the water temperature unless you were in the tub. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the water temperature for the shower, but that could be user error. I wish the bathroom had some hooks. But all in all, a very good stay. Will recommend to others."

10/10 Excellent
"Upon arrival, the hotel grounds are well-presented & maintained, with a welcoming entrance. The decor is stylish, and the building feels contemporary & clean.
Our room was very spacious, with a really comfortable bed, all amenities required and a modern bathroom. A genuine highlight for me was the lit mirror that also has Bluetooth - meaning music while we showered and got dressed!
Breakfast is a generous spread of high-quality hot options - thick cut bacon, homemade hashbrowns, eggs to order - to cold choices of smoked salmon, meats, fruits, yoghurt, cereal, scones & more! I also noted a really great gluten-free range. The coffee is delicious and the fresh juices were lovely too. Possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts I have enjoyed. The staff were also very attentive, clearing plates, replenishing stock & helping out clientele.
As an avid gym goer, the fitness suite was an important fixture, and it was perfect to get a good workout in. There is a mix of cardio equipment, a range of dumbells up to 30kg, benches, a few weighted machines, cables including lateral pull down, & a smith machine. Easily got a good workout in. The pool is relaxing, the sauna, steam and hot tub are great too. Very chilled vibe.
One downfall for me was that upon booking, I wasn't made aware that spa treatments weren't available - and I was planning on booking some in."
"Great friendly staff, willing to help and make the stay the best possible. Hotel was undergoing some renovations, a good thing, but did make unavailable some portions. The restaurant was excellent and the waitstaff was terrific. Room was clean and comfortable. The gym had mostly cardio equipment, some free weights and a universal machine. However it was stuffy and not air conditioned (making it smell more like a gym) and had no fan, making it uncomfortable to use, so I didn't stay long. Other than the disappointment in the gym, the rest was really wonderful and I would stay there again"
"My dad couldn’t stop raving about this place. He loved the build of the lodge hotel. Our toilet wasn’t working properly, and the manager came late at night to give us an upgrade. Such friendly staff, and Nelligan’s has a delicious menu!"
"Ennis is a beautiful village and Old Ground is right in the middle. Poet's Corner is excellent. My wife said her meal was the best of any meal she had on a 2 week visit to Ireland and Scotland. Bed slept like a dream. Staff was helpful. Ever a property cat at the door to welcome you to the hotel."
