"The room was very nice for family and very clean and easy to get to. The only thing we did not like was the door on the side didn’t know that you have to lift up to lock. It should be easier like the front door would be great. But everything was very accurate to the website. Love that you can just walk out to the beach and just enjoy."

"Incredible experience, the owner goes above and beyond. Beyond my wildest expectations. Feels like a retro 1940’s motel, that has been modernized. Like if the 1950’s, imagined the future. They are like a small apartment, with a back door. It is really really cool. I’m a native Floridian, new symrna is my local beach, and I have lived it for 40 years. This place is a gem, it’s magical"

"The hotel needs to be renovated on the outside of the building! Paint is chipping off the balconies and there’s lots of visible rust. In other words, it’s eroding due to the salt. Also the fences are chipping and have been for the past 2 years. Our ocean front room was very nice and spacious! View was amazing!!!"

"From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the host. Lovely unique property that felt like you were staying in someone's home rather than a B&B. Very comfortable room and the highlight of our stay was definitely breakfast. Our kids loved cooking their own pancakes at the table. Property very close to the beach and all the amenities in New Smyrna Beach with the bonus of on site parking. Thank you for such an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend Inn on the Avenue."

"The beach, pool and tiki bar are within 100 yards from the farthest room. Limited parking, one handicap spot. Parking is shared with tiki bar (open to public). The room had everything we needed. Remember that you are NOT staying at The Plaza and you’ll be fine! Liquor store directly across the street. Tiki bar closes around 10, so no need to worry about late night noise. Grocery store and 24 hr drug store located under one mile away. If you hang out at the pool or tiki, you WILL meet some locals! Full of characters. Everybody wants to have fun!"
