"Decent room size with a stovetop and fridge. Shower head needs replacement as it barely worked and beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. So much so that we left early because one more night in that bed with those flour sack like pillows was intolerable."

"Reasonably clean. Lights in my room didn’t work. Most outlets didn’t work. Only bedside lamps were operational. Staff delivered a pedestal lamp with a dim bulb late in the night after raising issue with front desk 5 times. Breakfast was ok. I will avoid this particular property in the future. Maybe other properties under the hotel brand might be ok so I cannot comment on that."

"Staff was amazing and helpful. I had to make an emergency booking because my original spot was deplorable. Front desk helped calm me down and bring some peace. They really treated me with humanity. Rooms were great and the shared areas were clean. Will return or book at holiday in the future."

"The kitchen staff was very friendly and the eating was clean - the furniture was very worn and outdated, but the area was clean. The room that we stayed in looked like a picture from the 1970's and it was damp and smelled like "wet dog" each time we entered our room."

"A great value and a nice and clean room. This is a "no-frills" hotel, so don't expect too much, but the location is great and is very close to Madison's main attractions such as the University of Wisconsin. Save hundreds and AVOID the downtown Madison hotels!"
