"I wouldn’t recommend this place. The place is ni w for instagram photos but the experience is not great for me and my company. Some staff are rude and they make you feel like you are not welcome in that place. I have to cut my days stay because the room is different from the one in the pictures. This place makes us feel unsafe the whole time we were there. "

"Too be honest this place is very clean, the only issue I had was the window unit was making noise, but, I ran out of luck, on this one! Nice bathroom too i was impressed! I recommend it, I will go back if anyone walks in a/c making noise, ask for a different room. Area is ok, but inside hotel is nice! "

"It's hard to say! The people are great! Service is excellent! But the smell the cracks on the wall, the star rates should change, i think orbits and expedia should get their own people come out and look at the locations to be honest before the rates stars. "

" Quite honestly the worst hotel experience i've ever had. We stayed at Shine Boutique Hotel for 10 days as every other hotel in Tagum were already fully booked. (It is not worth it to stay here considering how much you are paying for a night) -First night we stayed - we got to our room and our beddings were stained, hair and debris all over the sheets and pillows. It looked like they didn't even bother to change the beddings. - We had a night where we couldn't use our bathroom sink and shower because they "ran out of water". Our sink was clogged and it wouldn't drain. Our toilet was loud and making weird noises. - My fiance and I were charged 5,000 for airport drop-off only(not including pick up). (Neither my partner or I are locals so we didn't know that was too expensive).My family confronted the hotel and the manager refused to talk to them directly. They ended up refunding us 1k. When asked for an original receipt, they gave us a handwritten one. - The room that we were in smelled like gas and there was a loud beeping sharp noise outside our room that would go off every 30 minutes. I was already aware that this hotel isn't luxurious therefore i wasn't expecting a lot. I atleast expected professionalism and cleanlinesss."

"The signage of this hotel. It’s hard to find. No towels and soaps inside . We asked towels, they gave only one. Its family room we booked. No parking space . You need to look parking space around the area. We only stayed there for one night. "
