"Because most houses in Germany do not have screens, our suite had lots of mosquitos and multiple family members got mosquito bites. Not sure if this is a general problem for Germany hotels, it is definitely very annoying to battle with mosquitos in mid October. Somehow I was not able to find control panel to adjust fans and we were scared to open windows, the air was stuffy. Also no shower door, I had to put our own plastic sheet to serve as shower curtain to prevent water from splattering. Overall it was a good stay, clean and spacious, the kitchen had things we need for cooking meals (although the stove is very slow to heat up and no ventilation when cooking). It is 20 minutes walk from berlin wall.memorial and 5 minutes walk from metro station and a couple of minutes from bus stops."

"There was some construction on the property, which moved the entry to another back door. It appears the hotel was repurposed from an old factory, which was neat to see. The room was great. It did get a little stuffy one day but has large windows and a fan. One minor inconvenience, the soaps for the sink and the shower were in gravity fed bottles. The sink soap wouldn't stop running, so left a puddle on the counter and was out of soap by the next day. I ran the Berlin marathon during this stay, and we checked out the morning of the race. They stored our bags during the race, and were kind enough to let me use the gym shower after the race, which was a life saver. I normally don't leave reviews, but I wanted to share the experience."

"The hotel and staff were excellent. Using public transportation, I didn't like the walk to and from the hotel due to the all the graffiti. Loved the Greek restaurant by the lake. It was nice to have them space close by, but again, it felt a little unsafe due to the graffiti everywhere and overgrown park maintenance."
