From the staff who greeted us to the ranger and tracker who accompanied us in open Land Rovers on our small group safaris, every single person gave us care, attention and made us feel so very welcome. We saw amazing wildlife (6 of the Magnificent Seven), and even did some exciting off-roading in pursuit of a glimpse of the rarely seen African wild dogs who were running in a pack. "Mdluli is a lovely property right inside the Numbi gate of the park. The tents are large and comfortable, with new furnishings and well designed. The facilities are lovely--a nice bar/restaurant, great pool, and access to game drives are great. The staff is pleasant and hard working, always with smiles and kind words. Food was high quality and lots of variety. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely consider Mdluli for a longer stay at the park. Highly recommend. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Marloth Park Riverside lodge. It is located about 15min drive outside the KNP crocodile bridge gate. The food was just ok but the staff is absolutely fantastic. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit.
