Azul Beach Resort Negril, Gourmet All Inclusive by Karisma
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here last minute with our two year old after a different stay didn’t work out. Since we booked last minute, I was expecting the worst based on some of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! The pools and the beach were lovely. The beach is one of the best I’ve been to and my toddler loved being in the water and playing in the sand. Our room was on the 3rd floor in bldg 11 and it did not smell of mildew, did not get noise from the road, and had a small view of the ocean from the balcony. I only wish there was a tub in that room for my toddler but it was fine overall. Breakfast buffet at the Palms was good and the staff at the Palms were excellent. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was good as was room service. We also liked lunch at West End (my toddler loved the grilled cheese!). The only restaurant we did not care for was the Asian restaurant as the food was mediocre and service was slow. Overall decent food for an AI and great drinks everywhere we went. We appreciated the swim up bar next to West End Grill that let my toddler sit on the stool in the water and have a virgin pina colada. I took my toddler to the kids club on a rainy day and is smelled a little like mildew and many toys did not have batteries but it provided a space for her to run around on a rainy day. Overall nice place to stay."
"Great location. Pools and hot tub are clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Everything is maintained well. Lots of options to eat outside of the resort. Beds are on the firmer side but comfortable. Bring a small blanket if you want more than a sheet and light blanket at night. Mini Fridge in the room is great to keep drinks and snacks on hand. Water pressure in showers were good."
"Breakfast at Treehouse was oustanding, a normal occurrence and the staff - everyone one, no need to list names. The staff is truly "decent and proper" in their every interactions.
Thanks Treehouse "
"Staff service was excellent, property well kept on the outside. Bathroom around door/and handle old cracked paint and could use proper paint and cleaning. Found a live roach in bathroom. Thankfully, my nephew took care of it!"
"It was a few months after the storm and they were still renovating and getting stuff up and running, but overall the stay was nice and comfortable. I will recommend it Dwight.."
"Very quaint and green property on a beautiful beach. Breakfast was good, Tavia the waitress was very helpful.
The air conditioning in the cottage I stayed wasn't very cool."
