"We stayed in a surprisingly generously sized room with roll top bath and shower room, at the front of the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and well decorated, only down side was that we found it chilly. Breakfast was a cooked to order basic full English and cereals, staff levels were low but hotel wasn't busy so no great delays. Evening meals weren't available every night of our stay but other pubs in town were serving. Be aware that hotel is almost opposite the town church, which rings out...

All good except !
"Nice room very clean staff pleasant but bar area in need of a bit of love snd attention. Breakfast very good but placement of things s bit odd. Why is the butter with the fresh fruit section and not by the toaster and bread and jams !? Also tea making area very congested and when busy you have to wait a very long time to access the hot water/ coffee machine. "
