"OMG what a wonderful trip/adventure. The boat cruised around the back waters for about 4 hours. First before we cruised they served us a wonderful lunch. Then while cruising we stopped at a fish market to buy us whatever we wanted to eat for dinner. I bought 6 giant prawns that they cooked up for me in addition to the other chicken dish we had for dinner. Delish!! Vacation time well spent."

If you're looking for the backwater experience in true comfort and style then this gives you that. We hired a day boat which picked us up from the bottom of the garden. "The hospitality, housekeeping and general staff were excellent. This Taj is not a 5 star property. As much as one can appreciate its history, it is a dated property, yet it sits in the middle of a bird sanctuary. Be aware, the luxury villas have bathrooms that are open air. They do not have AC! This is most uncomfortable in a tropical climate. The hairdryer is attached to the wall making it impossible to dry your hair in a cool environment. This is not my idea of 5 star."
