Near West End hotel rooms a the Accor Hotels

"Room was fine however our neighbor had 2 barking dogs at all hours. I had to go outside at 11:30pm and shout outside their door to shut those dogs up and I was not the only person standing outside because of this. I will never stay at a dog friendly place again. BTW we have a dog, we like dogs. Hotel has no way to enforce what they call quiet time. Room was nice - clean, handicapped bathroom, mic and frig. a/c. We left a day early due to noise at night and barking dogs. Never again with Motel 6 pet friendly! "

"The toilet was not working when we arrived on Friday night. told someone at 6:30 am on Sat, was not even looked at. When we returned at noon, I had to say something again and they sent up a guy with a plunger. It stopped working again by Sun morning. No one working seemed like it was their job to address this. "

"The room was clean, however the couch and bed were very comfortable. The elevators only half worked and it seemed very unsafe to ride at times. People were slamming doors and children were running up and down the halls screaming and yelling. The experience was the worst we have had overall compared to our other trips. "

"The hotel is in a great location downtown. We were in a recently renovated room that was nicely appointed. Unfortunately the bathroom had a rather overwhelming sewer smell. We asked the front desk to look at it two different times. On the second day a very nice maintenance man came to assess the problem. He did do some work on the toilet, but the smell remained. The front desk did not seem to be concerned about it. We thought most of the staff that we interface with were rather pleasant, except for some of the staff members at the front desk. The hotel is currently under some renovation. You may want to delay your stay at this hotel."

"Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The Staff member at check-in was cold and unwelcoming. There was no greeting, no smile, and the interaction made it feel as though we were bothering her rather than being welcomed as guests. When we entered the room, the cleanliness was clearly below standard. The floor was sticky, there were dried alcohol on the nighstand, and there were hairs around the toilet. After taking the shower, condensation on the bathroom mirror revealed writing said « that room smells like hot dog water » We were too tired to request a room change late at night, so we stayed anyway. However, the condition of the room and the reception experience were both well below ehat we could reasonably expect from a hotel."

"The staff was really non present and not outgoing to talk to. The lobby was not clean and had trash laying around. For a non smoking hotel the whole hotel smelled of smoke. The room was clean enough but the floors had not been deep cleaned and right after the shower walking around my feet were black again and i had to wipe in bed just to be clean to go to sleep. Will not stay here again. "
