"What a great place ! First the pick up at the port was a nice touch. Definitely put the extra mile. The room was nicely decorated. Had a kitchen microwave small fridge. The hot tub was a bonus specially all the walking hiking I’ve done. The location was unbeatable right by the Portara - the main strip and the port. Also soundproof slept like a baby. "

"Lovely property with updated great villas. Loved it! Breakfast great. Pool and lounge area quiet for relaxation before and after beach. We rented a car to explore the whole island including various remote beaches and the mountains which we recommend highly. Maroula and her mother were wonderful hosts and staff was very helpful. "The apartment was just what we needed – close to everything and only steps away from the port. It wasn’t clear when booking, that the second bed in the room was a mezzanine, but we managed to get used to the staircase. "Nikos and his wife were the most wonderful hosts!. Nikos picked us at the port and his wife welcomed us with homemade lemonade and explained the town and sites to see. The property is beautiful and spotless. We appreciated the fresh fruits left for us in our room and the homemade bread. We had an amazing vacation and we look forward to coming back. It is also well located. Grocery and bus stop are 5 min walk. On our departure, Nikos dropped us to the ferry. Highly recommend."

"Irene was incredible, she was very welcoming and picked me up at the dock! I loved koufonisia so much, such a beautiful island. Small but still full of food and shopping options. The apartment was well furnished and very convenient. The water pressure was excellent and as someone with long hair I can tell you that was amazing after the beach. We booked a room with a balcony but when we arrived we were put in a basement room that was very dark like a dungeon with no balcony only a chair and a tall wall that you can’t look over. We also had to walk through another rooms private seating area which felt uncomfortable - there was no privacy. The room had no phone signal and no Wi-Fi. "Great place in small town of Glinado. Central and easy to get to all parts of the island by car. The apartment itself is good. Spectacular views and several lounge areas to choose from. Some upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen are definitely necessary and some small groceries would be beneficial eg check-in complementary water (since tap water is not potable). Getting to the villa was a bit complicated and the directions were unclear because of the many routes into the area. But overall, great...

"Overall we had a good stay here. Our arrival was difficult as the owners where not on site and we didn't have phones to contact them. Luckily a hotel next door kindly rang them for us and showed us to our room. The next day we met the owner's as they clean the rooms daily. This place is situated in between agia anna and plaka beach. Easy to walk to both and both places are different offering nice restaurants and beachs shopping etc. It wad nice to have a sheltered balcony outside and cooking...

"The responsibility for this rating is mostly due to mismanagement by Orbitz. We booked this property months in advance. Upon our arrival the hotel did not know of our booking. I had to call Orbitz, international call charges, to resolve the matter. Since the hotel did not know of our booking they had to scramble to find rooms. We were put in the basement were there was a faint smell of sewage in the halls. This was a Greek vacation, booked months in advance and we were put in the basement!"

Locals guided us to the sister hotel, and staff where good enough to make some changes and accomodate us in the sister hotel as it was much closer to where we thought we had booked. It all worked out in the long run and the hotel was great."
