"We were really impressed by the hotel and especially the staff with particular comment on the young lady in the breakfast room. Lots of nice touches. Great breakfast. Easy access to centre. Overall a great stay. One small issue was the distress of a dog left in a room on its own by the ‘owners’ who should know better."

"Staff excellently helpful courteous and friendly. Bed and mattress first rate. Net curtains at the window would be a good idea as the apartments opposite look straight into the room. And a tpoilet paper roll holder/ shelf in front of the sitter would be helpful in the WC. The supper we had was poor; the duck dreadful - overcooked and very tough, the spaghetti adorned by some very poor and tasteless cheese, with no extra cheese offered."
