"A free water taxi takes you to an outdoor shopping mall with some premium stores as well as local crafts. Several restaurants and more touristy souvenir shops as well. Did not try the light rail station nearby. A nice hotel away from the noise and bustle of the city yet close enough to walk to most attractions. "

"Sikamifer Tourist Resort is a wonderful place to stay in Mauritius. Mr. Jean at the reception was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant staff were kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyable, and the resort is located in a convenient area. I highly recommend this resort."
