The pool area is too close to the room I was in and the conference room oh my word the noise from the people using these facilities, the sheets and towels are not changed. "This is the best place to stay in Pietermaritzburg! The location is perfect for anyone affiliated with the university - literally across the street. You can have breakfast and supper - both excellent - and the hosts are extremely hospitable and helpful. We arrived with a flat tire, and Gys helped us get a new car the next morning. I have seldom experienced a home away from home as warm and welcoming as Ridge on 79. "

"The stay was ok as the location was convenient for the function I was attending. I had to pay extra for breakfast which I dont recall from the booking. The carpets were were shabby as was the 2 seater couch. The bed linen was clean! I was given a family unit. The space was awkward to move around due to the sleeper couch and 2 seater couch."
