Top National Assembly Building Hotel Reviews

The Heron By Sarovar Portico India

8/10 Good

"Room was clean and staff were nice and friendly. Buffet breakfast was enjoyable. Was very disappointed in communication regarding booking an airport transfer for my arrival. My flight arrived late at night so wanted an easy transfer from the airport to the hotel as this was also my first time in Nairobi. I emailed to arrange this and I got a reply asking for my flight details to confirm however after this email I did not get a reply back so I emailed again 3 days prior to arrival to double check and confirm the airport transfer but still no reply. I waited at the airport for a while in case they had it sorted but I ended up having to take an Uber. When I brought by this up during check in, they could see that I had emailed twice but was told that Uber is cheaper anyways."

Kije Place Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff are amazing - Lidia, Caleb, Colin and everyone else whose names I didn't find out. The chefs, waiters, housekeeping were all amazing. Kije Place is in a great location, the food is wonderful and it's also great value for money. It's definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. Above everything though, it's the people who work there who are welcoming, kind, helpful and respectful - they are the best of Nairobi, and I hope the management and ownership treat them well. Thank you!"

Fairview Hotel Nairobi, Vignette Collection by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Staff is very warm, kind and helpful, The food is very good and the service is exceptional. Installations are cleaned and well maintained. The only thing is the quality of the coffee, which needs to be improved to match the high level of other beverage and food items."

Maasai Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our 5 day stay here. Our “lodge” overlooked the river gorge with the lovely sound of the river and views of the National Park. The gardens are stunning, like being in Kew Gardens. Staff were attentive. The food in the dining room was elaborate and flavourful - with lots of choice at the buffet. We would not hesitate to recommend nor return for another visit."

SNL Hotel & Gardens

8/10 Good

"My arrival got off to a complicated start, at reception my reservation and room weren't checked and I was given the key to a budget room, I declined that and was shown another room which was budget with a TV, which I said this isn't the room I've prepaid for, the hotel staff didn't seem to believe I'd booked a executive pool view room until I showed them my booking and receipt that I'd prepaid, I was eventually given the right room with the intervention of a staff member Joyce because I told her I was going to find another hotel and leave she asked if she could sort this out for me and not to leave I agreed and from that was given a great room and with good internet access and an amazing comfortable bed the day after my arrival from then there were no further issues. This hotel has the most amazing staff, friendly, welcoming and efficient and made my stay a pleasure, good facilities and great food and good pool. Downside is there's no kettle in the rooms, I asked but none available which is rare today in most hotels, they will bring you a flask of hot water for a fee but you feel a nuisance always asking for one,so maybe that needs looking at . Anyway a good stay at SNL but I have to thank the staff personally who made it so, Joyce, Kate,Katherine, Regina and Maggie on security you are all in my opinion a credit to this establishment and because of all of you yes I would stay here again, thank you...."
