Road trip

Very relaxing, about a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk into Guissan. We walked and had s lovely day out walking aling seafront around the port and onto the sals du Guillam. We were there on a road trip in March so no pool available to use but the restaurant was open and very nice food. All staff were friendly

Château le Bouïs is a truly spectacular gem of a winery and property outside of Narbonne in the Occitania region of southern France. Nestled into the foothills overlooking the valley and sea the service, restaurant and experience was amazing! Wine tasting every day from 5:30-7:30 to take in the delicious vintages they produce. Restaurant is gorgeous over looking the vineyard with an excellent range of cuisines. We stayed in the La Suite D'Hortense with a rooftop terrace overlooking the area...stay but be prepared as this is an old building and no elevator on the 2nd floor you will be rewarded with incredible views. Suite has a second bedroom and bathroom great for a family... just duck when you enter... :) Sunsets and sunrises were spectacular... Staff were courteous at each interaction but be prepared as most know very little English ... don't miss out on this rewarding experience.

First of all I'll start by saying that their restaurant is 10 + and highly recommend it. As to the stay we did not have a good experience. - stayed end of April 2025 and property is heavily under renovation, construction equipment throughout the property. This was not advertised or Communicated - room itself - blinds leading to outside fell while we we were there and front staff said they couldn't fix it which meant could not block light - cealing light fixture was about to fall and again front staff did not address the concern Property staff, if they speak English they prefer not to and make travellers such as myself who do not speak French ackward. They have no patience even for the use of Google translate - breakfast really low end, and waitress was extremely rude if you dare to ask about coffee, she was also the head maid who asked another patron to translate and tell us they were not doing the room or changing the towels - property had the potential to be great, however if you do not speak French doubt you will feel welcome is quite the opposite.

This is a quiet hotel in a spectacular setting. The grounds are beautiful. Stay in the Horneste suite for a private deck and amazing views! It would be better to have a car if visiting this property, but you can walk to the smaller (less popular) beach in 25 minutes. Use montransport com to reserve a transport to/from the train station, as I did not see any taxis in Gruissan.

Beautiful grounds, safe, secure parking. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and linens. Superb views. Very courteous, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed walking the trails on the grounds with our dog. Enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant one evening. The breakfasts were very hearty with a variety of items to choose from. Très bel endroit au milieu des vignes avec vue sur la mer. Chambre vaste et très joliment décorée. Excellent rapport qualité prix à 15 minutes du centre de Narbonne et de l’entrée de l’autoroute. Je recommande vivement.

Personnel très accueillant dans un cadre exceptionnel ! Literie très confortable, petit déjeuner copieux . La Cave est aussi très intéressante. Merci encore nous reviendrons.

Château le Bouïs: beauté et calme

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre magnifique entre les vignes et la mer. Accueil chaleureux, personnel disponible et affable. Cuisine raffinée, chambre avec tout le confort: climatisation, coffre, petit frigo, machine à café expresso...Salle de bain spacieuse avec linge et produits de toilette fournis. Parfait, je recommande.

Une adresse exceptionnelle pour un séjour dans la région de Gruissan. Le lieu est d’un charme fou, la décoration choisie, et de très belles prestations. Excellent et copieux petit déjeuner
