This hotel is named the Nanjing Fujian Hotel not the Nanjing City Hotel as shown on your documentation. It also other signs - Fujian City Hotel and Fujian Hotel. It also does not look anything like your picture of the hotel. I thought I was in the wrong place. And when I went to check in - they did not have a booking for me - Fortunately I had someone with me who could speak Chinese. He helped to get me a room. You also need to check the information you provide under "What’s around". Not very accurate because of the City Wall and lack of access. I have attached some photos also - I would not stay there again.

Nanjing City Hotel Review

It has been a great week staying in Nanjing City Hotel. The facilities were reasonably good. The customer service provided by the staff were great. The housekeeping were done properly and promptly everyday without fail, including topping up of complimentary items. The food that they served were traditional Nanjing food, it would be good if they could serve more international cuisines to cater to a wider range of international tourists. Another thing that they can improve on will be the regular change of electric kettle, because the one in my room, was stained around the opening of the kettle, we didn't used the electric kettle. Other then that, everything were fine.

Good deal for the price

The hotel is located on a wide steer, along with many other buildings (not as shown in the isolated building picture or render). I had a very spacious room with shower and bath tub, in good condition. Wifi was available in the main lobby and in the room although for the latter the coverage was not very good. In any case, functional within the restrictions of Internet in China. The style of the breakfast was Chinese and the quality was just decent. Not a lot of options to make a continental breakfast out of the available food. The reception staff was not particularly helpful since they had very little English skills. Room service did a very basic job, barely placing bed sheets back to the right position. There are some places around to eat. The hotel is also known as Fujian Hotel or Nanjing Fujian City Hotel.

A hotel with good location

The hotel is in a convenient location. It is a bit old and needs refurbishment. Noted that it is rather noisy at lower floor at night due to a KTV nearby. I got one at lower floor but changed to a quieter one at high floor. In general the quality is acceptable.
