"It was as if taking a step back in time. "Absolutely over the top 3 day stay at this ryokan. We opted for meals inclusive and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. The staff was amazingly attentive! Please consider a pickup at Shinjo station, we took a cab, there is a public bus but it was a two hour wait and we had luggage. Can arrange for luggage storage at Shinjo station? When train service is restored from Shinjo to semi onsen station perhaps that will be a viable option. Yumeminoyado will pick up at Semi onsen station with prior notice. Email communications with the hotel was responsive also, appreciated that! Overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend! "

Great amenities, a karoke room, natural onsens, a library and not to mention both a wonderful supper and breakfast, not to mention buffet style. My only regret is not booking another night! And the highlight for me was sitting in the natural onsen, both in daylight and below the night sky with snow falling, yet being warmed by the natural baths watching the world go by. 10/10 for me! Can't recommend enough!"
