Naglayan Island hotel rooms a the Independent

"Staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. Infinity pool was amazing. The panoramic suite had fantastic views!!!! Food at Baya was the best cuisine compared to other restaurants I visited on this trip both in Manila and Coron. "

"Great location. There are always tricycles outside the resort to take you into town for 30 PHP person. Or you can take the free hotel shuttle into town but only runs in the evening. Rooms and pools were very nice and clean. Gym area was a bit small. There was an entertainment area with ping pong, pool, and foosball. Did not use the spa so can’t comment on that. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of different options. We had lunch at the restaurant one afternoon and it took an hour to get our food so that part was disappointing. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. I was with a group of 11 people ranging in age from 5 to 73. Would stay here again."

"Perfect place to unwind and de-stress. The staff is excellent. Wish every cabin had air conditioning as it can get pretty hot at night even with the provided electric fans. "
