"Incredible stay at City Hotel. Everything about the hotel was high quality. I was lucky enough to stay in a large corner room that overlooked both the city and the river. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff arranged for an iron to be brought to my room ahead of my arrival. The Nespresso coffee machine was a bonus, as was access to a 24/7 gym. The breakfast options were plentiful and high quality and sitting on the terrace was lovely. Only minor room for improvement, my suggestions would be some bath salts/liquid for the bath and a more modern hairdryer as the one supplied was old and slow . Overall would definitely stay again."

"This place is great for those that have a car. If you do not have a car I do not recommend going here. I called five independent taxi companies and nobody was available. Only reason my son, our luggage, and I didn't walk the 6.5kms from the train station in 33 C heat was because a friendly local overheard us and offered to drive us. Return to train station also had a hard time finding an available taxi when booking a day in advance. Had to pay extra for one from another town to come drive us. Aside from that, we had a very nice stay. The evening receptionist was especially nice and helpful. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Restaurant was closed for lunch or dinner, but the newly renovated River House nearby was nice. The rooms are mostly updated (not fully renovated but for the most part) and very spacious for Europe. Highly recommend the Thermal baths Bad Loipersdorf less than 1km away. It is an amazing thermal bath and outdoor waterpark, but you need to book month in advance. They were booked a month out and I was only able to get an evening ticket when I found it and booked a few days in advance. I would come back - with a rental car."

"We spent our vacation in the Monpeloso apartments in June 2024 and we repeated it this year 👍 The house has a very good location in the quiet and peaceful northern part of the city. The route to the beach is very pleasant, a walk under the trees takes about 5 minutes. Beaches with amazingly clear water, several bars and beach restaurants, with a stunning view of the old town and the Church of St. Euphemia. The lady owner is very nice, friendly, communicative, nothing you need to solve is a problem. The house has two separate floors with separate entrances to the apartments. The equipment is very practical, suitable, we did not miss anything from the kitchen or room equipment, everything was clean and cozy. Convenient parking in a private parking lot right under the windows. around the house a beautiful flower garden with opportunities for quiet relaxation. If we manage, we will be very happy to come back 🙂"

"Fabulous property and location - honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The property is just steps away from the pedestrian zone - less than 1 block on way and 1 ½ blocks the other. Communication with the host was flawless (there is no in-site staff). This was our 3rd week of a 5 week Central Europe exploration and a HUGE and unexpected win was a laundry machine in the communal space. We travel with laundry sheets and use sinks and tubs - getting everything really clean was a win! There is a good sized drying rack and all was dry in the AM. Appreciate the tea kettle and the coffee machine. If you are staying a few days stop at SPAR off the main square and pick up your favorite coffee, tea, creamers and sweeteners. Our kitchen was private; non-perishables could be donated to the communal kitchen for future guests. The bicycle theme was the icing on the cake as we spent a day biking and wine tasting out along the Austria Slovenia border whis is gorgeous!"
